Blanca is dedicated to creating artificial intelligence systems that are secure, explainable, and equitable. Her career spans research and industry, from publishing in Nature to designing and shipping Apple Health algorithms. She is a named inventor on several patent applications including US20220392590, which describes novel methods for detecting health data patterns and delivering personalized health insights.Blanca received her BS in Computer Science from Stanford University and her MS in Biomedical Informatics from the Stanford University School of Medicine. She is also a Stanford Technology Ventures Program Threshold Ventures Fellow.
